However, conditions can change rapidly in the Okanagan Valley and when storm clouds roll in from certain directions, or the wind begins to pick up and the water becomes choppy, it is not a good idea to go parasailing. This is because high winds can cause the parasail to become unstable and can cause safety equipment to fail by pushing it beyond its designed capabilities.
