FAQs

  • When are you open?
We are open 7 days a week 9am until dusk and book flights every hour on the hour. Closing time depends on the weather and ticket sales for each day as well as seasonal availability. When you're ready to fly, call us as early as possible. We typically start in April and run until mid September depending on the weather.
  • Can anyone parasail?
No special skills are needed, anyone can parasail. The minimum age to parasail is 4-5 years old. We’ve even taken people in their 90’s up for ride.
  • How many can fly at a time?
We can fly one, two or three at a time depending on weight, weather and wind conditions.
  • Will I get wet?
It's optional! If you would like to get dipped in the water and weather conditions permit, the captain can dip you anywhere from your toes to your nose or you can stay completely dry if you choose.
  • What should I wear?
Something comfortable and weather appropriate for the season. It's up to you if you'd like to get a little wet or stay completely dry. Hats may come off while in the air, but sunglasses are usually ok.
  • Can I take pictures?
Absolutely! Our deckhand may be able to take photos of you with your phone while on board. We also offer a a GoPro Video package on a selfie stick available for you to take up in the air with you. This package is available with your booking or at the ticket kiosk.
  • Can I take my belongings on the boat?
You can bring a small bag with you on the boat. All bags should stay dry but we cannot guarantee they will not get wet so please think about the items you bring with you.
  • How long is the ride?
Parasailing flights themselves are up to 10 minutes. The entire trip depends on how many people are on the boat. Usually this is between 30-60 minutes. This includes the boat ride, the flight and the return boat ride back to the dock. Please ensure you arrive at the kiosk 30 minutes before your scheduled flight.
  • I am not parasailing, can I still go on the boat?
Viewers are allowed onboard the boat on a first come first serve basis if there is space available at the time of your flight. We can't guarantee viewers at time of booking but we can allow last minute if the boat is not full. If you have a friend or family member that you would like to accompany you onboard the boat, we do charge a fee for viewers to cover fuel costs.
  • Is it customary to tip the crew?
Just like others in the service industry, the crew works very hard to make sure all your needs onboard the boat are taken care of. If you had a good time, the crew always appreciates a tip!
  • What if it rains or is extremely windy?
A little sprinkle and we stay out, but high or gusty winds make parasailing unsafe. The Captain decides if we are going on stand-by or if we close down for the day. If you weren’t able to fly then you can either be refunded or rescheduled for another time/day. If you are unsure about the weather conditions, please give us a call the day of your flight and we can confirm whether we are operating or not. That said, weather conditions may change abruptly and the possibility always exists that we may need to suspend operations on short notice if the weather takes a turn – safety always comes first.
  • What are your cancellation and refund policies?
Any cancellations requested before 48 hours prior to trip departure will receive a full refund. No cancellations within the 48 hour period. Rebooking's requested within the 48 hour period may be subject to extra fees. All cancellations due to poor weather conditions will be rescheduled or receive a full refund.
